Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any
widgets I could add to my blog that automatically
tweet my newest twitter updates. I've been looking for
a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would
have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything.
I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.

Best spot to find poses for drawing references? Hey, i'm a new artist and at this
time working on steps to make our body much less
awkward searching in my own art. Therefore i'm currently looking for references of the body, just the problem is certainly every
reference is usually a drawing rather than real
life human. I know about life drawing but my little town doesn't...

Hiya! I know this is kinda off topic however I'd figured I'd ask.
Would you be interested in trading links or maybe
guest writing a blog post or vice-versa? My website addresses a lot of the same subjects as yours
and I think we could greatly benefit from each other. If you might be interested feel free to send me an email.

I look forward to hearing from you! Superb blog by the way!

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were
just preparing to do some research about this. We got
a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more from this post.
I am very glad to see such magnificent info being shared freely out there.

Biology enzyme qustion for a lab? Why would so many living things exhibit catalase
activity? As you probably already know, catalase breaks down hydrogen peroxide,
which is generated during normal cellular function and which at
physiological levels, serves multiple important roles in cellular redox control &
signaling, and defense against invading pathogens.
However, although H2O2 itself is not all that reactive, it CAN readily cross
cell membranes, and in the presence of transition metals
such as iron & copper, react with O2 to form hydroxyl radical (-OH) which
is VERY reactive and potentially damaging to cells.
And even in the absence of free transition metals, higher than normal peroxide levels
can profoundly influence activities of enzymes that are under redox control, including various kinases, phosphatases and even some transcription factors.
So, regulation of H2O2 levels to prevent either redox imbalance or
full-blown oxidant stress is an important homeostatic requirement.
As long as levels of H2O2 are kept low, it contributes to
normal cellular physiology, but if levels go too high they can cause
problems. So there are mechanisms in place to keep peroxide levels low, under control, and catalase is an important
component of those protective systems. Given the universal importance of cellular redox
regulation, it is not at all surprising that catalase would
be fairly ubiquitous in biological systems.
